Confucius Classroom in Thailand Held Educational and Cultural Exhibitions

Educational and cultural exhibitions with the theme of “ I Prefer to Learn Chinese ” held in the recruitment and counseling area of Thai Higher Education, attracting wide attention.

Exhibitons were organized by the Confucius classroom at Trimit Wittayalai High School in Thailand. Mr.Chinnaworn Boonyakiat, head of Thai Ministry of Education, visited and gave his appreciation for exhibits such as Chinese textbooks, reference books, audio and visual pictures, CDs and equipment for experiencing Chinese culture.

Over 800 volumes of textbooks, cultural readings, interesting stories and reference books were displayed, which appealed students and teachers to observe and take photos. Besides, touchable equipment helped coming guests experience and get informed of Chinese places of interest, listen to folk music and be acquainted with historical changes and development of Chinese characters.

Confucius classroom at Trimit Wittayalai High School, located at Chinatown of Bangkok, was estalished on November 2006, ranking as the first in the globe. A large number of activities have been held since its founding and won acknowledgement as well as wide popularity among all walks of life.
