The Schools Link project is an English Language course specially designed for school students from 6 to 13 years old in accordance with the Cambridge University and Common European Framework. The project has been successfully running for 3 years in both private and government primary and secondary schools in Hanoi.
The program is aimed at enhancing the English learning at the school and is very well integrated into the Ministry Of Education and Training’s regulated program. It is an excellent preparation for students wanting to get the Cambridge ESOL Certificate.
The position will be full-time for 9 months (End of August 2010 – End of May 2011). Teachers will be required to teach 20-25 hours a week in Primary and/or Secondary schools Monday -Friday.
Teachers will receive initial induction training and on-going professional development sessions throughout the year.
- University degree
- Native English speaker
- PGCE/DE or other recognised teaching qualification
- An English Language Teaching qualification (CELTA or equivalent)
- Experience working in primary/secondary schools, preferably in Asia
- Ability to design and deliver fun, creative and communicative lessons
- Ability to work independently
- Proven ability to build rapport with schools, Head teachers and teachers
- Well presented
- Prepared to travel
Hourly remuneration: $18-$22
Additional benefits include:
