IELTS Speaking test in Kazakhstan – January 2011

IELTS Speaking questions were shared by T from Kazakhstan, who remembered the following:

Interview

- What is your full name?
- Can I see your ID?
- Tell me about your hometown.
- What is it famous for?
- Did you play any sports when you were a child?
- Why did you like this kind of sport / activity?
- Do you think boys and girls nowadays can play the same sports? Why?
- Do you think your children will play sports? Why?

Cue card

Describe a thing you bought, that you had to save money for, please say
- what it was,
- how long you saved money for it,
- what you felt when you bought it.

Discussion

- Do you think children should be taught to save money from their childhood? Why?
- Should parents buy everything their child asks for? Why?
- Is it easy for you to save money?
- Do people in countryside have different shopping attitude than people in a city? Why?
