Sunflower Trilingual School is an English Program school teaching both primary and secondary students. We are situated on a beautiful, modern campus located in a nice, quiet area of Samut Sakorn, approximately one hour southwest of downtown Bangkok.
At this time we are seeking to hire a female, native English speaking grade 1 teacher for the 2011 school year with an April 1st start date. The subjects to be taught will probably be Math and Health for approximately 15 contact hours each week and the possibility of another 5 hours of assisting with homework, etc. The successful candidate(s) will have a university / college degree and prior teaching experience, preferably in Thailand. The salary will depend on qualifications and experience. This position is open only to individuals from the U.S., U.K, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
Accommodations are available (you pay for the electricity and water), plus a generous food allowance and internet service. Four weeks annual leave plus many holidays. The campus also has a swimming pool and track. The other benefits will be discussed during the interview.
Consideration will be given to a salary increase upon successful completion of a 90 day probationary period.
