Bangkok, February 09 – Thailand’s largest school of Islamic sciences called Chok Buri Nong was opened in a ceremony on Tuesday in Bangkok.
According to ABNA, the construction project of the school started four years ago and it is considered as a great honor for Muslims in Thailand.
The scientific-Islamic centre is due to provide education at high levels and the students educated at the centre will qualify to continue their studies at the educational centers of Islamic sciences in other countries like Egypt or Kuwait.
Eminent figures including Sheikh al-Islam of the country were present at the opening ceremony of the school.
