Youngsters have built a school tens of thousands of miles away in Cambodia.
Pupils from Portsmouth Grammar School raised £11,500 in a year and with the help of charity United World Schools have built a new school in the village of Chia Thom.
But it's not just fundraising. Twelve current and former PGS pupils have also been teaching in village communities including Chia Thom for two weeks.
Teacher Lara Péchard said: 'These are people that are so grateful for anything that you can give them, and so eager to learn that they arrive at school at six in the morning.
'I can't think of anywhere else that I have been where you are so welcomed, appreciated and needed. This is an extremely worthy cause, in an area that is desperately in need of help.'
Former pupil Tim Wiggins added: 'I am so very proud of what we have built over the past year. You plant a seed, be it in Portsmouth or in a remote tribal village in Cambodia and with desire, hope and will anything can be achieved.'
