English Teacher (Speaking & Listening) For Government School
Wichienmatu School is the largest government high school in Trang with approximately 2,500 students in grades M-1 through M-6. We currently have a friendly, easy-going staff of six native English speakers, and are seeking to expand our staff for the 2010 school year.
Trang province is a great place to live. You can enjoy islands, beaches, waterfalls, caves and other recreational amenities. Most of our teachers spend their weekends on the beach. The cost of living in Trang is one of the cheapest in Thailand. You can have a great lifestyle and actually manage to save money on our competitive salary.
Successful candidates will teach one grade level 20 hours per week. Class size averages 45 students. Course books (McMillan) are provided but Teachers have great flexibility in choosing materials and designing class work.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
CELTA or TEFEL certificate showing 120 hours of actual classroom training
Native English Speaker (USA , UK , Aus , NZ , Can )
Must be one who truly loves teaching and cares for students.
Remuneration and Benefits:
- 30,000 Baht per month (depending on qualifications / experience)
- Work permit
- Health Insurance
- Generous Paid Holidays
National holidays (about 2 weeks)
4-week paid holiday in between semesters
4 additional paid weeks off during exams
