On July 8th 2010, at Mahokani Room, Satree Phuket School, there was a press conference about a basketball tournament called ‘Sponsor Thailand Championship 2010′ which is being held in Phuket on July 9th – 15th at Satree Phuket School.
This basketball tournament was sponsored by the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Department of Psychical Education, and Sponsor Energy drink. It was first held in 2002, and this time was the 7th tournament. The tournament was held in different parts of Thailand to select the representative of the region to join the final round of the tournament in Bangkok. Satree Phuket School hosts the southern regional tournament this year. In addition, the winner of the final round would receive a trophy from HM the Queen Sirikit.
